Dragon Ball Z Tribute V0.8b

Dragon Ball Z Tribute 0.8b stands out as one of the most beloved fan-made fighting games based on the Dragon Ball Z franchise. This version is the final release before the game evolved into what is now known as Dragon Ball Z Devolution. The project began in 1999 and transitioned to Flash in 2004, with its first major debut on Newgrounds, where it quickly rose in popularity thanks to strong community support and high ratings. While early versions mirrored the look of classic Game Boy games, this release features full-color visuals—though it's still limited by a small, fixed resolution.
The game offers several exciting modes from the start. In Story Mode, you’ll revisit key battles from the Dragon Ball Z timeline, starting with the iconic fight between Goku and Piccolo during the 23rd Tenkaichi Budokai, marking the end of the original Dragon Ball series. Versus Mode lets you battle solo against the computer or go head-to-head with a friend to prove who’s stronger. You can even watch AI characters fight each other. Then there’s Tenkaichi Budokai Mode, where up to 8 players (or CPUs) can enter the tournament for an all-out showdown.
